H.M.S. Ophelia was one of one hundred and three destroyers of the "M" class built for the Royal Navy during the Great War.
Service
At the Battle of Jutland, she operated with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla under the command of Lewis G. E. Crabbe.[6]
On 13 January, 1917, Ophelia collided with Norman. Ophelia's captain Cameron was informed in unusually strong language that "disregard of seamanlike action on his part on this occasion is considered reprehensible."[7]
On 10 September, 1918, she sank UB 83 with depth charges, south of the Orkneys.[8]
Reduced to C. & M. Party at Portsmouth on 17 October, 1919.[9]
