H.M.S. Vanoc was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
In August, 1917, Vanoc was assigned to the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla.[5]
She was reduced to Reserve at Devonport on 5 February, 1920.[6]
She paid off on 7 November, 1923.[7]
She was commissioned at Portsmouth on 17 November, 1925.[8]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 22 September 1936 for service in the Gibraltar Local Defence Flotilla.[9]
