Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Martin Robertson-Glasgow, (1 March, 1883 – 17 July, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Colonel John Campbell Robertson-Glasgow was born in India.
Robertson-Glasgow was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1906.
Robertson-Glasgow was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 December, 1914.
He pleaded guilty at a Court Martial for being drunk on board on 22 May 1915, which cost him six months' seniority. He was appointed to Juno at the time, she being under a reduced complement. He was placed on the Retired List in accordance with Order in Council of 13 May 1901 on 8 June, 1915 with retired pay.
He died fighting in the Army in France in July 1916 with the 23rd Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers.
