Captain Edward Roynon-Jones (31 January, 1879 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy. The National Archives entertains several spellings of his name.
Life & Career
Born in Malta, the son of Major-General Richard Roynon-Jones.[1]
Roynon-Jones was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1901.[2]
He was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1913.[3]
Roynon-Jones was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1918.[4]
Roynon-Jones was appointed in command of the battleship Cæsar on 11 December, 1918.[5]
Roynon-Jones was placed on the Retired List on 31 Marcy, 1923.[6]
