H.M.S. Tactician was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

Tactician was re-commissioned 1 November, 1919 at Devonport, tender to Defiance.[6]

Reduced to Reserve on 13 May, 1922.[7]

Commissioned 16 December, 1927 as part of the Maintenance Reserve at Rosyth.[8]
