Captain (retired) William Eveleigh Darwall, (13 April, 1843 – 12 September, 1919) served in the Royal Navy. His son, William Henry Darwall, would also serve.
Life & Career
Darwall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 November, 1863.
Darwall was promoted to the rank of Commander on 9 January, 1878.
It appears that he was acquitted at a Court Martial convened on 17-18 May of an unnoted year.
He was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain on 13 April, 1893.
