Captain Frederick Wilbraham Egerton, Royal Navy (8 December, 1838 – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born the son of Reverend Thomas Egerton, Frederick would marry the daughter of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Geoffrey Thomas Phipps Hornby.
Egerton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 18 July, 1859.
Egerton was promoted to the rank of Commander on 29 December, 1871.[1]
Egerton was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1881.
Retired at his own request on 5 January, 1885.
