Commander (retired) Edward Downes Law, ( – 9 December, 1915) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Law was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 August, 1861. The year may be wrong here.
Law was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 1 October, 1873.
He succeeded to the peerage of Ellenborough in July 1902.
