Admiral Harry Campbell Reynolds, Royal Navy, Retired (2 June, 1853 – 7 February, 1949) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Reynolds was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1890.[1]

Reynolds was promoted to the rank of Captain on 22 June, 1897.[2]

He was appointed command of the second class protected cruiser Gladiator on 11 July, 1899.[3]

Reynoldse commissioned the new armoured cruiser Monmouth in December 1903[4] until he became captain of the battleship Vengeance from August of 1905[5] until his promotion to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 March, 1907, vice Poore.[6]

In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 8 December, 1903, he was placed on the Retired List, at his own request, on 2 December, 1908.[7] He was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 19 May, 1912,[8] and to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 24 October, 1915.[9]
