Captain (retired) Alfred Bernard Watts, R.N. (13 January, 1882 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Eastbourne, the son of Reverend G. E. Watts.
Watts was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1903.
Watts was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1911.
Watts was appointed in command of the destroyer Spiteful on 13 March, 1913.[1]
In July, 1914, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Firedrake.[2]
Watts was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1916.
Watts was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon the expiration of this foereign service leave on 22 November, 1922.
Watts was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 13 January, 1927.
