H.M.S. Sesame was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

She reduced to Reserve at Devonport on 18 September, 1920.[6]

Commissioned on 26 March, 1923. By early 1926, she was stationed in Irish waters.[7]

Reduced to three-fifths complement on 16 January, 1926.[8]
