Rear-Admiral THE HONOURABLE Walter George Stopford (18 September, 1855 – 1 December, 1918) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Stopford was appointed in command of the armoured cruiser Leviathan on 16 June, 1903.[1]
He served as captain of Glory from February 1904 until October of the next year.[2]
He was appointed in command of the Royal Naval Barracks, Portsmouth on 1 February, 1906.[3]
