H.M.S. Godetia was one of thirty-six Arabis Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Godetia was commissioned at Devonport on 13 January, 1920.[6]
She completed a refit at Sheerness Royal Dockyard on 11 March, 1927 and returned to service in the North Sea as a fishing patrol boat.[7]
In early 1936, after more than sixteen years as the ship of the Local Fishery Officer for the North Sea, it was declared that Godetia would pay off for disposal and be replaced by Lupin.[8]
