H.M.S. Tenedos was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending. She was completed after the war.

The old ironclad Triumph was re-named Tenedos in 1904.

Service

Tenedos was completed to Full crew at Portsmouth on 17 October, 1919.

Re-commissioned on 30 June, 1921.

She paid off into Maintenance Reserve in Rosyth on 15 November, 1927.

Commissioned at Rosyth on 16 September, 1930.

Paid off into Reserve at Portsmouth on 1 June, 1932.

Commissioned at Devonport on 14 October, 1935.
