Admiral Wilfrid Rupert Patterson, (20 November, 1893 – 15 December, 1954) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1915.
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 July, 1923.
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1928.
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1933.
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 28 July, 1942.
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 15 March, 1946.
Patterson was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 3 August, 1949.
Placed on the Retired List on 1 December, 1950.
