Vice-Admiral THE HONOURABLE SIR Guy Herbrand Edward Russell, G.B.E., K.C.B., D.S.O. (14 April, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career

Russell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1918.[1]
Russell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1926.[2]
Russell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1931.[3]
Russell was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1936.[4]
World War II
Russell was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 5 July, 1945.[5]
Russell was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 22 October, 1948.[6]
Russell was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 10 April, 1952.[7]
